Project
environment
A
favourable outcome of any field intervention in a developing country
calls for adequate institutional
capacity, sufficient infrastructure etc., but also a thorough field study
among the final beneficiaries on the expectancy and acceptance of the
intervention, regardless of the intended means of implementation. We
carry out missions and studies to find out whether there will be a
favourable environment or “project climate” for further phases of
intervention preparation and implementation.
Feasibility
In any
cycle of a development intervention, before making financing decision,
maybe the most valuable information is the feasibility of the proposed
intervention. Our covering field experience is apt to
promote exercises striving to assess feasibility reliably and
accurately. Rather than making a single feasibility study, based on the
outcome of appraisal, we prefer inclusion of a feasibility assessment
component in each stage of planning and regular reviews during the
implementation.
Programme
Support or Budget Support
In case
of Programme Support is the chosen way of Development Cooperation we are
prepared to undertake assignments pertaining to project preparation. We
assist in project identification, Terms of Reference compilation, or
assessment of overall relevance of the venture. Project formulation and
project document drafting are part of our services as well as
pre-implementation appraisals.

Reduction Strategy
are important, but maybe even more important is to find out whether
there is true commitment from the side of partner country’s
development authorities and stakeholders of a future development
intervention. In this respect we carry out reliably the field-studies and assessments pertaining to country
policies, proposed
development programmes, capacity of institutional framework, gender- and
poverty-aspects involvement, infrastructure, and not the least important,
accountability.

Implementation phase
We assume
implementation responsibility of an intervention, solely or partially
shared, or we carry out a desired assignment included in a larger
entity. For field operations we provide also a full scale of project
management services. On the other hand we can commit responsibility on
monitoring, evaluation and assorted reviews.
Analyses
and assessments
We
complete our service line by provision of analyses and studies
pertaining to the above mentioned sectors. Such are economic-,
cost-benefit- and risk analyses and impact analyses on gender-, social
and environmental issues. We carry out the studies in preferred
sequences or under the framework of Poverty Reduction Strategy.
